Cosmic Energy Runes Set
I am in a Halloween/Samhain mood, lately. It must be the cooler weather. In my pattern surfings today, I found another nifty cool pattern for the Pagans. I am loving the Cosmic Energy Runes Set. The runes in the set are planetary. I am sure it could easily be edited to include the Elder Futhark. In case anyone does not know...runes are little stones, usually that have symbols carved in them. You can use them sort of like tarot cards. I sometimes carry a rune stone with me for luck, or if I need a particular energy with me.
Ok, that was all for now. I am off to contemplate a few things...like my new PRGE secret pal. I am so happy that we all got our pals today. It made an already great day, better. HUGS to you girls...

i love runes...i have a set that are stones, and used to carry one with me sometimes too!
i also made a set of ogham sticks--the alphabets seem so "magickal" to me (in every sense of the word)
i haven't used them in quite awhile, but for some time i was even having dreams with runes in them, weird, huh?
I'm going to repeat my mantra, Must Learn To Crochet!
They are very cool, never ceases to amaze me what people can come up with.

I've got a friend who's into runes and sometimes wears one as a charm--I forget which one it is. I'm not spiritual at all, but I think runes and the ogham alphabet are artistically attractive, same as other Pagan stuff.
I was going to chart out some runes on the computer as knitting charts a while back. I liked the ones on AntiCraft, but they looked a bit too mechanical & symmetrical. I wanted something more carved and organic, I guess that's the word.
So when I find some I like I'll post a couple.
