Howdie Ho, Neighbors!
I'm Inky and I'm a sheep. Baaah.
Now that the intro's are done, you can get to know me at the blog.
Halloween is our wedding anniversary (3 years this next one) and I was thinking of knitting crocheting (gasp!) the Wearable Web from Monster Crochet. But I have to find some more affordable glittery yarn for it, as the Berroco Lazer FX is FIFTEEN F-ING DOLLARS a ball and she used four!! I want a shawl, not a priceless piece of string that will undoubtedly get caught on things. Because Inky, thy name is Anti-Grace.
Any idears?
And nice to meetcha, btw. (thanks Sev, for the invitey!)

Baa-baaahhh, Inky!
There's gotta be a less expensive glittery yarn out there. I certainly wouldn't pay $60 for yarn to make something I'm just going to snag on every single thing I pass. I'm a magnet for crap.
After getting caught in the back door of a bus as I was getting off I decided to finally ditch my 4-ft wallet chain. So no webby shawl for me until I learn to be less of a clod, despite how cool the thing looks.
Hmmm, that shawl might look preeeetty nice draped across the back of a black futon...
Have you checked out ebay or www.elann.com? They have some really nice relatively inexpensive yearn! Give it a go dolly! Im so glad that you joined us here, when Sev' said she knew a cool someone, I didnt know was you!! Stoaked!
So hows the new pad comin along?
I'm psyched to know there is someone out there who actually married on Halloween. Most excellent!
Love the Wearable Cobweb, never new it existed till today, perhaps because I don't crochet. But thanks for the link.
I'd love to hear how you go subbing the yarn, as I think I will be doign a bit of that here.
