Good Enough for Atari...

...But is it good enough to knit from? I was so not sure how to save it and upload it at a good enough resolution. Ergggh...anyway. I figgered you gals would give me an honest opinion.

The grey squares are optional in case you're using it to finish your Alien Illusion scarf (like I am), kinda trying to keep in that pattern of knit 3 rows, purl one.

Anyway, I'm too tired to be coherent now.

In case you're wondering, I did it in Excel. What a GEEK.

Thx!

perhaps i should explain that my alien illusion scarf is rly turning into 2 scarves in one (this thing with the spaceshipe being the 2nd half of it). but i'll just post a picture, then it'll make more sense.

i forgot to credit Mr. O'kitten for suggesting the spaceships, and then drawing me one. i worked out the repeat for the scarf, but i think i'm going to start putting little UFOs on everything now. gloves, oven mitts, the cheeks of red woolen bloomers. little UFOs and robots.

oh, and maybe some bats.

Ahhh, Atari ruled! I played 'til my fingers got calluses. What was that game that was a ripoff of Space Invaders, was it Missle Command? I loved that game & played it for hours. Fuck Nintendo.

My brother and I discovered if you jammed in a cartridge and pulled it partway out you could make the games play all wonky.

Thanx for makin' me feel old!

Oh yeah, it should be just fine for a knit pattern.

*cough snot snort growl*

I think it's going to look pretty dang cool when done. Be prepared for some major old style geeks coming up to you and wanting to know where you purchased it, hee hee.

i'm gonna go back in there and change the black to grey so i can outline all the squares, working from the chart i realized it'd be easier to be able to count the stitch squares too (not just the background grid)

so yeah, dam excel, go figure

frakkin photoshop hates me.

what this shows you is that once upon a time in real life i spent more time messing around with my spreadsheets to make them look nice than on making them actual do anything practical.

anyway, this was just easier for the chartmaking. tain't bad, is it?

oh, now i'm going to do Ignatz and Er from Aqua Teen Hunger Force

HAW!

OK, Ignatz and Er would rule on a scarf.

I have a grid I got when I did a screen capture of a greatly enlarged MS Paint screen, I use that as my background in NeoPaint and just fill in all the little squares.
