Scarves are portable projects, plus it looks like we could all use a new scarf or two!
Tons of pics of the same design but in different colors get a tad dull sometimes so I'd get excited about seeing different patterns. Maybe we could learn how to design the fool things too!
The only KAL I'm in right now is for vintage patterns--it doesn't matter what we knit so long as it's from old patterns. That one's been fun to see everyone's interpretations of designs and how they solved sizing problems, yarn substitution, etc. The variety in that KAL has been pretty amazing.
I was messing around the other night with making an illusion chart. I have not test knitted it to see if I did it right. But making my own pattern eventually, would be plausible. Good idea.

It would allow for osme variety! And scarf's are pretty quick to whiz up, at least I find so.

I completely agree. It uses the stash and allows me to learn illusion knitting and different scarves would be a lot of fun to see.
