Irish Hiking Scarf

I finally completed my second Irish Hiking Scarf. It took me a while, over a month, to finish. Not because the scarf is hard or demanding to knit. I had other projects going at the same time and I sporadically worked on the IHS Scarf, when I could. Well, I finished it last night.

I had to laugh that today is St. Paddy's Day, and it's my "Irish" Hiking Scarf. Too bad it's not green...

Specs on my IHS Scarf: I used 4 skeins of Patons SWS yarn in the color # 013 Natural Earth. ( I love the colors) The scarf too my over a month to make, despite being an easy pattern to memorize. I used US # 8 straight bamboo needles, throughout. Oh yes, my scarf measured approximately 60 inches. Another observation...this yarn make the scarf itself, quite heavy. It's a lot heavier than my previous Wool Ease version. Hmmm...?

Happy St. Paddy's Day, everyone!
